Profile: Historische Baustoffe Ostalb
On over 8,000m² of exhibition and storage space, we offer the entire spectrum of historical building materials.
In addition to salvaging and trading historical building materials, we also use these materials to create furnishings such as tables, beds or shelves. Also according to your wishes. We also revive entire houses, because we are experts in the translocation of entire buildings.
Impressions
All buildings on the company premises were originally located elsewhere and were saved from demolition by us.
Now the former carpenter's workshop and the old elementary school, which were reconstructed with all original parts at the place of origin and rebuilt here, result in the very own, characteristic appearance of the historical building materials Ostalb. Ask us - we may have a complete historical building in stock for you.
Another focal point is lighting. From the times of Art Nouveau and Historism, Art Deco to the classics of the 30s of the Bauhaus era. Also classic industrial lamps and interesting lamps from the 50s to 70s of the last century....
Over 800 lamps are permanently on display in our attic.
