For the 44th time the members of the Unternehmerverband Historische Baustoffe e.V. met at the company Historische Baustoffe Jerx in Ballenstedt on the weekend from 9 to 11 May 2014. In addition to the usual conference programme, the programme included a tour of the company by member Alexander Jerx, a lecture on pollutants in historical building materials and a guided tour of Falkenstein Castle.
On Friday, the general meeting began in the conference room of the Schlosshotel in Ballenstedt. Under the direction of the managing director H. Christoph Freudenberger, it was decided that the next members' meeting would take place in November in Leipzig, in conjunction with the "denkmal" trade fair. A subsequent lecture by lawyer Andreas Ronsöhr on the subject of pollutants in historical building materials concluded the meeting. In the evening Alexander Jerx surprised the members with a program point to the entertainment contributed, the clay pigeon shooting.
The Saturday began in the conference room of the lock hotel with a lecture of Thomas Borghoff and Lena Wurzer to the Website of the federation. The focus was on the use of the website and current technological developments. Afterwards the members visited the castle Falkenstein. Alexander Jerx then visited the company premises. There was a small refreshment with coffee and cake and the traditional material auction. The members then let the evening fade away with the Italian in Ballenstedt.
On Sunday morning there was another meeting in the Schlosshotel. Afterwards some members took part in Lena Wurzer's workshop for the independent placement of material offers.
