For the 54th meeting Thomas Knapp invited this time, as before in autumn 2013, to the Weserbergland. On the weekend from May 17th to 19th it was time for the colleagues from all parts of Germany to come to Deensen and Holzminden. The suggestion to book the "Weserhotel Schwager" as a conference house was well received.

The meeting started formally on Friday evening with a general meeting followed by a meal together. The Saturday was then used a little more relaxed with a trip to the PS-Speicher(a museum, warehouse) in Einbeck and afterwards drinking coffee in Thomas Knapp's branch in Stadtoldendorf. Here the colleagues were welcomed with a selection of homemade cakes, some of which even decorated the KNAPP logo. (Thanks to the colleagues of the department "Sales and Administration"!)

After everyone had been properly strengthened, we went on to visit the company in Deensen, where we auctioned off all kinds of interesting historical objects offered by the other members of the association. A great conclusion of the day was the joint suckling pig meal at a long table in the company's own carpentry workshop.

The Sunday was used again for a meeting of the members, after which the colleagues made their way home.

Tour of Einbeck with PS-Speicher

The former Einbeck granary is home to more than one museum. Not only are more than 400 vehicles on two, three and four wheels on display, but the objects are brought back to life in an adventure exhibition. Worth seeing!
